Last week, we participated in a fantastic whole-school Sports Day! We all put 100% effort into every activity in order to score points for our team. We particularly enjoyed the egg and spoon race, bean-bag throw and jumping over hurdles.  Thank you to all of the adults who came along to cheer us on! 

Last half term the children in Y3/4 TPS earned more Dojo’s than any other class in school. As a reward for their hard work, the children chose to spend some extra time playing outside.
What an amazing term we have had learning all about the Vikings. We finished our theme this half term by visiting York. We went to The Dig and to the Jorvik museum. This half term, in Art, we have been learning to blend and layer pastels. This week, we applied our skills when working hard to to replicate the work of famous pastel artists such as Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Pablo Picasso and Jean Francois Millet.
Y3/4 enjoyed a visit from The History Detectives from Sheffield University who taught us about The Civil Rights Movement. We learnt some really interesting facts but The History Detectives were so impressed with how much we already knew!
