Kestrels are investigating materials in Science. So far they have grouped materials into solids and liquids and have decided which materials are soluble in water.
This week is Anti-Bullying week and Kestrels have discussed what bullying is but also filled in a survey created to generate answers to use as discussion points linked to cyberbullying. .

After visiting Wentworth, we will be writing an argument about where we should keep animals. We have had a debate challenging each other’s views after reading an article.
On Wednesday 11th October ABC Family Learners and Thrybergh Primary are holding a Mini Beasts Workshop for Year 5 and 6.
As a result of Oliver winning the ‘design a shoe for your dream job’ competition, before the summer holidays, everyone who was part of last years Class 4 got to enjoy a trip to Meadowhall to receive a free pair of shoes.
Class 5’s new topic is Life on Earth and we’re learning about minibeasts first. We went on a bug hunt around areas outside school and found lots of insects and bugs!
