Before the half term, students from Thrybergh Academy came down to share the story books they had written with our FS2 class. Our children really enjoyed hearing and joining in with the stories and the Y9s were a credit to their school.

In Maths FS2 have been learning to measure the length of different objects using cubes. We worked really hard to help and encourage each other to measure large objects like our classroom tables.

Last week FS2 / Y1 participated in Miss Venables road safety class. They learned how to safely cross at a zebra crossing remembering to always look both ways before stepping out onto the road. 🚦⛔
Our Foundation children love to be outdoors, especially when it’s so sunny! This week we have been making full use of the water wall, using the mud kitchen and painting with water. It’s lovely to see the co-operation, imagination and learning that goes on when the children think they are ‘just playing’.
