Science Investigations in Y5/6

In Science, Y5/6 have been learning about the properties of materials. They have sorted materials according to their properties, and are now learning that they can use materials for different purposes, because of their properties. This week, the children have been investigating thermal insulation, finding out which materials are the best thermal insulators. They have been very accurate with their observational skills, and reading scales on the thermometers.
