Y1 History Trip

Last week, Year 1 visited Clifton Park Museum to support their history topic on toys. During a hands-on workshop, the children got to try out toys from the past, including a jack-in-a-box, tumbling man, and spinning top, while learning about the materials these toys were made from. After the workshop, they explored the rest of the museum, dressing up, examining fascinating artifacts, and discovering some amazing treasures from Rotherham’s past.

It was a fun and engaging day, bringing their history lessons to life!
