Reading in Y2

This week, Year 2 have been practising a new reading strategy called “whisper reading.” They use this technique to help them with unseen comprehension texts. By quietly reading aloud to themselves – sometimes with their fingers in their ears – they can hear their voice more clearly in their head, which helps improve focus and understanding.

What a fantastic group of readers. Well done, everyone!
