Art Study in Y2

This term, Y2 have been learning about the artists Thomas Gainsborough and George Freeman, who were both well known for their portrait paintings. As part of their learning, the children will be creating their own self-portraits, so they have been practising how to draw different facial features carefully and accurately.

Although it can be quite tricky to get the shapes and proportions right, the children have shown great perseverance and have not given up. Well done, Year 2!
