Art Study in Y4/5

This week, Year 4/5 explored the vibrant artwork of Nigerian artist Jimoh Buraimoh in their Art lesson! The children studied Buraimoh’s distinctive beadwork style, exploring some of the key features and motifs found in his artwork. They then selected their favourite elements and incorporated them into their own unique collage designs.

After carefully drawing their own designs, the pupils chose bold colour palettes to bring their artwork to life. It was fantastic to see their creativity shine as they took inspiration from Buraimoh’s distinctive style. Well done, Y4/5!
