This week, Year 2 began exploring their new book, ‘The Tunnel’ by Anthony Browne. The children have been looking closely at the characters and discussing how the author uses words and illustrations to show their different personalities. They also took part in drama activities, imagining how the characters might speak to one another and bringing the story to life.
It has been fantastic to see the children sharing their ideas and using their creativity to deepen their understanding of the text. Great work, Y2!
