This week, Year 6 have been exploring the role of religion in the ancient Maya civilisation. Using their previous learning, the pupils compared and contrasted Maya gods with those worshipped in other ancient civilisations.
They took part in some thoughtful discussions about the different roles of the gods and how belief systems varied between civilisations. There was some fantastic dialogue and teamwork as pupils shared their ideas and developed their understanding. Well done, Y6!
