Science in Y2

This week in Science, Y2 have been learning about how exercise affects their bodies. They began by sitting quietly and feeling their heart rate before any activity. Then they went outside, first walking around the yard and then running – and they couldn’t believe how much faster their hearts were beating after a run!

Back in the classroom, they completed an energetic dance video, which raised their heart rates again, before finishing with a calming yoga session that helped bring their heart rate back to normal.

Everyone agreed that staying active is important and said they would try to do more exercise. Well done, Y2!
