Y4/5 History

As part of their ongoing work on the Miners’ Strike, Y4/5 continued to explore the key causes of the strike during today’s History lesson.

The learning was brought to life when a member of the class kindly shared some special artefacts linked to the topic, including his great-grandad’s mining jacket and a small gold lamp he received on his retirement. These real-life items helped deepen everyone’s understanding of the period. Well done!
