Design Technology in Y1

This half term, Year 1 have been busy designers! Their challenge was to design and make a pencil case from recycled fabric. Each pencil case needed to be the right size to hold 10 pencils, fastened with Velcro, and decorated using scrap fabric.

Sewing can be tricky, but the children persevered and worked hard to complete their designs. Just look at how proud they are of their finished products – a fantastic effort from everyone!
