Science in Y4/5

This week in Science, Y4/5 started learning all about the main parts of the eye and how they help humans see. They worked in pairs to read information about the different parts of the eye and what each part does.

They learnt that light enters the eye through the cornea and pupil, passes through the lens and reaches the retina. They also learnt how the optic nerve sends messages to the brain, which helps them process and understand what they see. After some research, they used their new knowledge to label a diagram of the human eye to deepen their understanding.

Well done, Y4/5!
