On Monday, Y6 visited the Lifewise Centre and took part in a range of scenarios designed to help them learn how to keep themselves safe. Pupils experienced a juvenile court hearing and took part in workshops covering knife crime, fire and water safety, and road safety. They also learned about the dangers of Child Criminal Exploitation, becoming detectives as they looked for clues that could show a young person was being exploited by criminals.
Some of the information was hard-hitting, but it provided pupils with valuable knowledge and important safety messages that they can carry with them. Well done, Year 6!
