Y4/5 Science

This week, Y4/5 explored sound by designing and making their own megaphones! The children rolled sugar paper into wide cones, secured them with tape and carefully cut an opening to create their megaphones. They then tested them out to see how the cone shape affected the sound.

Through their investigation, they discovered that the cone helps direct sound waves in one direction, making the sound louder and clearer. Well done, Year 4/5!
