Y2 History

As part of their Toys and Technology learning, Y2 have been exploring how video games have changed over time. They were lucky enough to have some original consoles brought into school, giving them the chance to see firsthand just how much they have evolved.

The children discovered that some games were played using discs, others used cartridges, and some were even saved directly onto the console itself. It was fascinating for them to compare the older consoles with the ones they use today and spot all the differences.

Everyone really enjoyed learning about how gaming technology has developed over the years!
