World Book Day at Thrybergh

We love reading at Thrybergh Primary so we have really enjoyed taking part in different activities and celebrating books on World Book Day!

Y5/6 Science Investigation

We had a great session on Wednesday investigating  series circuits and using switches to open and close circuits.

Year 5/6 Dodgeball Award

Year 4 and 5 Dodgeball Stars

Year 4 and 5 have been practicing their dodgeball skills over the last few weeks and played full games of dodgeball this afternoon, putting these skills into practice. We had some fantastic dodging, ducking and throwing and showed great team spirit!

Toys Over Time – A Class 2/3 History Lesson 🪀

In our History lessons we are learning about toys. In our last lesson we worked in teams to play with Lego and wooden blocks. We discussed the differences between them and then looked at who invented Lego and the impact it has had on how children play. 

Safer Internet Day with Class 2/3 💻

On the 7th February it was Safer Internet Day. 💻 The children have been discussing how they can stay safe when going online and who they can talk to if something worries them. They then played a game to look at different scenarios and discuss what they would do and who they could ask for help.  

A Wild Day Out 🦁
