This week, Year 1 and 2 had a brilliant time on their trip to Scarborough, linking to their history and geography learning about coastal environments and how seaside holidays have changed over time.
The sun was shining, and the children made the most of the day by building sandcastles, collecting shells, exploring the beach, and even enjoying some fun parachute games! A highlight for many was, of course, the well-deserved ice cream to cool down.
The children were an absolute credit to the school – their behaviour, enthusiasm, and curiosity throughout the day were fantastic.
Opportunities like this are part of the Wickersley Partnership Trust Enrichment Promise, which ensures all students across our Trust can take part in meaningful, enriching experiences beyond the classroom. Whether it’s trips, cultural visits, or clubs and activities, the programme is designed to broaden horizons and inspire future aspirations.
Well done, everyone!
