Y5/6 Make Their Own Poppies

Class 6 have been thinking about remembrance and making our own Poppies which we are sending to Thrybergh Parish hall to show our respect for all those people who have lost their lives due to conflict.We also thought about people who are less fortunate than ourselves whose lives have been affected by war.

Y5/6 Have a Spooktacular Time!

We had our Halloween disco before half term and it was spookily good! There were so many brilliant costumes it was very hard to tell who was who! Everyone had a fabulous time together.

Thrybergh Primary Y5/6 Orienteering

Last Monday we had a brilliant day at Ulley. We were orienteering which definitely helped us to demonstrate never ever giving up as we really had to persevere to find all the markers. Fantastic attitude from everyone!

Composing Rhythms

This week in Music we have been learning how to compose and perform an 8 beat break-out rhythm. We worked in small teams to compose a simple question and answer rhythm and then performed it using percussion instruments. We followed the Thrybergh way by listening carefully to each other.
