Y3 South Yorkshire Fire Service Visit!

Last week, Year 3 were visited by Erin from the South Yorkshire Fire Service. They were given a talk and presentation, then took part in some activities, and discussed how to be safe in the lead up to Bonfire Night. Well done Y3, great work! #WeListenToOthers 

Y5/6 Lesson with Baroness Fookes

Last Friday, Y5/6 had a great afternoon with Baroness Fookes, learning about democracy and the role of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The children found out what it is like to work in Parliament and what an MP’s duties are. Well done everyone! #WeListenToOthers

This week, Foundation have been taking part in Money Matters Week! They have been exploring what value means, and identifying the value of different coins. Amazing work, well done everyone!

Y4/5 Autumnal Art!

This week, Y4/5 have been discussing Harvest Festival and the importance of their food donations. The children have drawn some beautiful autumnal leaves, and have added some lovely texture to them using different colour chalks. Harvest Festival Arts & Crafts in Y3!

This week, there has been lots of discussion in Year 3 around the Harvest Festival and what it’s all about. The children have made some scarecrows in prep for their harvest festival performance today.  Well done everyone! #WeAreEquippedToLearn

Painting Arctic Landscapes in Y2!

This week, Y2 started their own Arctic landscape paintings, based on the work of Linda Lang. They carefully sketched the outlines of the shapes, and then used what they had learnt about colour mixing to start painting their artwork! Stay tuned for the finished pieces coming soon.
