PE Session in Y6

This week, Y6 have had a little light relief from their studies, by taking part in a game of rounders. The children developed some excellent fielding and batting skills, and definitely enjoyed their well deserved break. Great work, well done Y6! #WeWorkHard

Writing Skills in Y1

Recently, Y1 have been working incredibly hard on their writing skills. The children have been learning how to structure a story and write one, choosing appropriate adjectives, and using ‘and’ to join some sentences. They have also worked on their use of capital letters, full stops, and neat handwriting. Fantastic work, well done Y1! #WeWorkHard

Y2 Geography

In Geography this term, Year 2 have been learning about coastlines and the different features that can be found there. They have focused on the Yorkshire seaside town, Scarborough, and this week they identified human and physical features of the resort. Everyone has worked together brilliantly, and learnt so much. Y2 Science

This week in Science, the children in Y2 really enjoyed being electricians, as they learnt about different equipment, and used this to make a circuit and power a light bulb. Everyone listened to instructions fantastically, and did a great job. Well done, Y2! #WeAreAlwaysLearning

Easter Bonnet Competition

Last week, Y3 took part in the Easter Bonnet Competition at Thrybergh Primary, and there were some absolute masterpieces! EYFS Easter Activities

Last week, Foundation Stage had an ‘egg’stra special time, taking part in lots of fantastic Easter activities. They had a visit from the Easter Bunny, who left the children clues to help them find chocolate eggs.
