Art in Y1

This week in Art, Y1 learned how to wedge, pancake, and roll clay to create a slab. They listened carefully to instructions and worked with great care to ensure their clay was smooth and even. This will prepare them to add their decorations next week. Well done, Y1! #WeAreEquippedToLearn

Recently in Maths, Year 1 have been exploring all the different ways they can measure. This week, they focused on capacity and volume, enjoying some fun, hands-on learning in the water tray.
