Art in Y1
This week in Art, Y1 learned how to wedge, pancake, and roll clay to create a slab. They listened carefully to instructions and worked with great care to ensure their clay was smooth and even. This will prepare them to add their decorations next week. Well done, Y1! #WeAreEquippedToLearn
Y1 Maths
Recently in Maths, Year 1 have been exploring all the different ways they can measure. This week, they focused on capacity and volume, enjoying some fun, hands-on learning in the water tray. The children loved experimenting with how much water different containers could hold and discovering practical ways to measure in everyday life. #WeAreAlwaysLearning

Music in Y5/6
Yesterday, Y5/6 began learning how to play the ukulele. Everyone was fully engaged as they learned how to hold, handle, and play a tuned instrument correctly. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and focus during the session. We definitely have some promising musicians in the making! #WeWorkHard
