Learning in Y4/5!

Y4/5 have had a brilliant week!

In English, the children have been reading a book called ‘Grace and Family’ by Mary Hoffman. They have been working hard with their partners and independently to summarises key points, and predict what might happen in the rest of the story. They carefully planned their sentences and took pride with their handwriting. Fantastic work!

This term in PE, Year 4/5 are learning the skills needed to successfully play hockey. They started by being secure in holding their hockey sticks correctly and this week, the children have been travelling with the ball, being careful and keeping control at all times. They then progressed to stopping and passing it to a partner. Everyone was resilient and tried hard, well done Puffins!
