FS Measuring and Building!

In Foundation, the children have enjoyed reading a book called ‘Actual Size’, inside are pictures of animal parts that are true to size, such as a gorilla hand. They enjoyed measuring the animal parts with everyday items around the classroom, and found that a brown bear’s head is the length of two and a half pencils!

The children then decided to use building cubes and measuring tapes to measure items around the classroom. They also used the building cubes to create structures, and had so much fun!

Well done Foundation. 😊
