On Thursday afternoon, Year 2 had a fascinating discussion about the technology we use every day and how it helps us in our lives.
The children then worked in groups to sort different types of technology into three categories – devices we use at home, machines and tools, and communication devices. They really enjoyed sharing their ideas and working together.
One of the highlights of the lesson was hearing Mrs Whelpdale talk about how technology has changed over time. The children were amazed to learn that TVs used to have no remote controls and that you had to find a telephone box to call friends and family!
