In EYFS, they are always learning and exploring new things! Over the past week, the children have been incredibly busy developing skills across a wide range of areas. In music, rhythm, and dance, they have been moving to the beat, experimenting with different sounds, and expressing themselves through creative movement. They have also been working hard on building their fine and gross motor skills, using activities that challenge their coordination, strength, and control.
In literacy, the children have been retelling this week’s story, The Gruffalo, practising sequencing, recalling key events, and using their imagination to bring the story to life. Meanwhile, in Maths, they have been getting familiar with money, exploring different coins and learning how they are used in everyday situations.
It has been a wonderfully busy week full of curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning – well done to all the EYFS superstars!
