NHS Visit KS1

This week, Year 1 and Year 2 had a visit from the wonderful NHS team, who taught them all about the importance of brushing their teeth every morning and evening. They even brought along some giant toothbrushes and a large set of teeth to help demonstrate!

The children learned that only a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste is needed when brushing and discovered which foods and drinks contain lots of sugar, which aren’t good for our teeth.

To finish the visit, everyone received their very own toothbrush and toothpaste to take home. It was a fun and informative session, and the children left ready to look after their teeth!
