Recently, after watching a guided tour of a mosque, Year 2 pupils used their imagination to experience what it would be like to visit a mosque, supported by some of their class experts.
The children took part in a wudu washing process, respectfully removed their shoes, and then entered the prayer hall to learn about Salah, the Islamic prayer. Our experts modelled the movements Muslims make during prayer, and another expert shared a holy book with the class.
We are very proud of how respectful the children were throughout the session and are grateful to our experts for sharing their knowledge. A fantastic job all round!
