The Great Big Live Assembly

As this month is Black History month, today we took part in the Great Big Live Assembly. This is a national celebration aimed to promote and celebrate the contributions of those with African and Caribbean heritage to British Society.
 
After the assembly we recreated the artist Njideka Akunyili Crosby’s famous portrait of Thelma Golden. 
 
The children followed followed the Thrybergh Way by listening to others and working hard.
