“We aim to send all young people into an ever-changing world able and qualified to play their full part in it.”

Eco Council

At Thrybergh Primary we recognise how wonderful our planet ‘Earth’ is and want to ensure that it stays that way for us and future generations. We are aware of the current climate crisis and the work that governments across the world are having to do to ensure our planet is healthy. We recognise that it is everyone’s responsibility to look after the planet that we live on and we want to do our bit to help.

Our Eco Councillors say…

Pixie – Y2 –

Hi I’m Pixie and I am going to help tidy the school.

Aymee – Y2

Hi I’m Aymee and I am going to help tidy the school.

Meela – Y4

Hi my name is Mela and I will be a fantastic Eco-Councillor because I like to clean up and I am very good at helping the world to grow and be clean.

Bobby-Mae – Y4

Hi my name is Eco-Councillor because I am a very clean person and I want to keep the school tidy.

Lilly – Y5

Hi I am Lilly and I am a new Eco-Councillor because I want to make the school look tidy by picking up litter and making sure that we turn off lights when we aren’t using a room. We need to look after our school; it is a special place!

Cory – Y5

Hi, I’m Cory. I wanted to be an Eco-Councillor because I understand the need to reduce the amount of rubbish that’s disposed of on the floors and in the ocean. I promise to pick up litter and turn off lights when we don’t need them on.

McCallum – Y6

Hi, my name is McCallum and I am thankful for being an Eco-Councillor. I will help the environment by picking up litter around school.
