Kestrels had a very fun session to end this half term with Scotty’s Heroes playing different team building games whilst getting messy with different coloured powders!
Kestrels investigated how their heart rate is affected by different types of exercise and compared them against one another. This gave us some interesting results!
Kestrels have had a few exciting Science lessons recently! They wrote instructions on how to make blood and then using items that represented the components of blood like marshmallows and hoops they made their own blood.
The Kestrel class enjoyed a family learning session making heart-shaped sun catchers last week. Thank you to all parents/carers that attended!
This week with Scotty Heroes, Kestrels built fires. They learnt how to put all the elements together to make the fire – however, a few teams had to show great determination to keep the fire going as their fire kept going out.
The Kestrels class have had a weekly session with Scotty to work on team building, communication and survival skills. To end the term they enjoyed toasting marshmallows!
