On Friday, class 1/2 had a special visitor. To support our learning about Islam in RE, Ms Choudhry from the Secondary RE team came to tell us all about Ramadan and Eid.
We learned about fasting, praying, sharing special meals and wearing special clothes. The children enjoyed trying on some headscarves and fez hats. We drew the meal we would love to eat if we’d been fasting all day.
