VE Day Celebrations

On Thursday 8th May, children across Thrybergh Primary took part in a History lesson around VE Day, and learnt why we celebrate this. Everyone came to school in some lovely red, white, and blue outfits and face paint for the occasion. They also attended a whole school assembly, where they all sang some 1940’s wartime songs. The children were super engaged, and learnt so much.

Well done!
