Y5/6 Parachutes

In Science, Year 5/6 have been learning all about forces. After exploring gravity, they have now moved on to air resistance and are developing a strong understanding of how different forces can act against each other.

Yesterday, pupils investigated how the size of a parachute canopy affects the time it takes to fall to the ground. They shared thoughtful predictions, carried out practical tests, and discussed their results, showing excellent scientific thinking. Well done, Year 5/6!
