Healthy Eating in Y2

This week in Y2, the children have been learning about the types of foods their bodies need to stay healthy. They explored the different food groups and used an Eatwell Plate to understand how much of each group should be included in a balanced meal.

One key message they discovered was that sugary foods are fine – but should only be enjoyed as an occasional treat. Well done, Y2!
