Y5/6 showed great resilience when the rain stopped our outdoor play! Everyone was excited to get outside but unfortunately the weather had other plans. That didn’t stop us though, we kept our spirits high and carried on indoors.
The students’ team spirit really shone through as we practised our hockey moves, learnt new skills and supported each other every step of the way. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging their classmates and giving their best effort, even when plans had to change.
All of this is a part of the Wickersley Partnership Trust PE curriculum, which focuses on developing physical skills, confidence, teamwork and a love of being active. Our students were a perfect example of how we can keep learning and having fun – no matter the weather!
